The WindPRO software can be licensed according to the License Agreement, which can be viewed in different languages by clicking on the different flags to the right. |

Standard License
A standard license gives you perpetual access to the software modules you have licensed. The license is supplied with free hot-line support and program upgrading during the first year. Upon expiry of the free service period, you can enter a service agreement with us, which secures that you will automatically receive the latest program updates and have access to hot-line support.
One-Year-License
The EMD software can also be licensed for a limited period of one year. When choosing this type of license, you pay 40% of the normal prices mentioned for the software. Upon expiry of the license period you can either choose to extend the one-year-license for a new period or you can choose to have the one-year-license changed to a standard license.
University Licenses
Special favourable prices for WindPRO are available for universities and other educational institutions, provided that the supplied software is not used for any commercial activities. Please contact our sales department at emd@emd.dk for a specific offer and exact license conditions.
Student Licenses
If you would like to use WindPRO as part of your students’ course curriculum, we can supply you with time-limited software licenses for each individual student at very favourable prices. Please contact our sales department at emd@emd.dk for further information and prices.
Important when ordering software
Please notice, that when purchasing a license to our software, we always require a signed License Agreement from you based on your choice of license type. Please send a copy of the signed License Agreement to our fax at: +45 96 35 44 46 or by email as a scanned document to emd@emd.dk
License Terms
EMD International A/S holds all Intellectual Property Rights to the WindPRO software. Software manuals are copyrighted and all rights reserved.
Conditions for use:
The licensee, who has paid for or by other means obtained the right to use the program, is entitled to use the license. The license cannot be transferred to another licensee without prior permission of EMD International A/S.
Copyright:
The licensee may under no circumstances copy, pass-on, sell or in any other way distribute to third parties the software or any documentation associated with the software.
License:
The licensee is allowed to activate a license on both a user’s stationary office computer and laptop as long as they are not used simultaneously.
A license can be activated, deactivated and activated again by different users at the licensee as long as the above restriction is respected.
Additional license(s):
Must only be used by employees within the same company, who has purchased the first license. On every additional license, the name and address of the company, which is printed on all report printouts, will be the same as on the first license supplied.
Duration-Termination:
All license rights to the software are withdrawn in case the licensee at any time violates the terms of payment in force at EMD International A/S.
Limitation of Liability:
The software is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind. EMD International A/S does not warrant, guarantee or make any representations regarding the functionality of the software, any results obtained by the use of the software and any software support provided by EMD International A/S and their Agencies/Partners in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability, usefulness, or otherwise.
The licensee is solely responsible for the selection of the software, for the installation of, use of, and results obtained from the software and software support received. Also excluded is any implied warranty by EMD International A/S, such as merchantability, non-infringement and fitness for a particular purpose.
