Accounts

The ACCOUNTS module adds facilities to the FINANCE module. Besides investments and financing ACCOUNTS gives the possibility to perform annual income statements and balance sheets for the planning period including depreciation and revaluation of assets.

Besides the economic calculation for FINANCE, ACCOUNTS draws up the annual accounts for all years in the planning period. The set up includes tax, reserves, depreciation accounts for the assets, displacements of the payments into different fiscal years etc.

The economic calculation uses the rules of accounts made by the World Bank. This means that a project calculated with energyPRO ACCOUNTS is fully "bankable".

ACCOUNTS adds a few more input data to FINANCE. These input data are included in the existing windows.

In the ACCOUNTS calculation it is very important to set up the opening balance for the project correctly, which will give you realistic annual accounts for the entire period. Due to this you can choose to describe the owners capital, existing loans, existing reserves and depreciation accounts for existing plants. The description is made in the well-known input windows from FINANCE.
